Author Guidelines
Submission Requirements
1. Manuscript Length:
- The minimum length for submitted manuscripts is 8,000 words, excluding references, tables, figures, and appendices.
2. Manuscript Structure:
- The manuscript should be structured as follows:
a. Title Page:
- Title of the article
- Full names of all authors
- Affiliations
- Corresponding author’s email address
b. Abstract:
- A concise summary of the research, not exceeding 300 words. The abstract should highlight the purpose, methods, key findings, and implications of the study.
c. Keywords:
- Include 3-5 keywords that represent the main topics of the article.
d. Introduction:
- Provide a clear overview of the research problem, objectives, significance, and relevant background information.
e. Methods:
- Describe the research design, data collection methods, and analysis procedures in detail.
f. Results and Discussion:
- Present the findings clearly, supported by tables, figures, and charts where applicable. Discuss the implications, comparing the results with previous research and theoretical frameworks if necessary.
g. Conclusion:
- Summarize the key findings, their relevance, study limitations, and suggestions for future research.
h. Acknowledgements:
- Recognize individuals, organizations, or institutions that supported the research.
i. References:
- List all cited sources in APA 7th edition format.
3. Formatting Guidelines:
- Font and Spacing:
- Use Cambria, 12-point font, 1.15 spaced throughout the manuscript.
- Margins:
- Set 1-inch margins on all sides.
- Headings:
- 1.1, 1.2, 1.3...
- 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3...
- Tables and Figures:
- Include tables and figures within the text at appropriate places, numbered consecutively, with descriptive captions.
4. Reference Style:
- Adhere to APA 7th edition format for all references. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all citations.
5. Submission Process:
- Manuscripts must be submitted through the GCSJ online submission system. Ensure all files are in Microsoft Word format.
6. Peer Review:
- All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process. Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers' feedback.
7. Ethical Considerations:
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards in research, including obtaining necessary approvals and consents.
